Coach/Owner

In 2019, he was given an opportunity and started an awesome boxing ministry for youth called Armor 6:11 Boxing. Founded on the Bible verse Ephesians 6:11, which talks about having the full armor of God on. By teaching boxing basics, he is helping youth overcome issues such as bullying, gaining confidence, and encouraging them with faith in Christ. His goal is to see youth overcome any obstacles that life may throw at them. He also encourages them to put their electronics and video games aside and do something that can take you places. Learning the sport of boxing can open the door for opportunity to win titles and become a champion. 

As a troubled youth, Benito found himself fighting and roaming the streets of Oak Cliff in Dallas, TX. This led him to dropping out of high school and living the hard life. He didn't care about what anybody thought, he was going to do things the way he wanted. There were multiple times, his life could have ended because of dangerous situations, but for some reason no harm ever came to him.

It wasn't until he connected with an old friend, who took him to church and in Jan 2008 he gave his life to Christ. That same year that friend became his wife. Today, they have five kids and they all serve the Lord strong! He also went back to school sixteen years later and graduated. God has definitely turned his life around 180!

Coach Benito is USA Boxing Bronze Coach Certified. His motto is by working hard and with determination, anyone can do anything through Jesus Christ who gives them strength.
